Depok is a city in West Java province, Indonesia on the southern border of DKI Jakarta in the Jabodetabek metropolitan region. The "de" in Jabodetabek refers to
Depok, while the word "depok" itself comes from Sundanese language meaning hermitage or abode of one living in seclusion.
It has an area of 200.29 km2 and at the 2010 Census had a
population of 1,751,696 people, with a density of 8,746 people/km2.[2]
The city is divided into eleven districts (kecamatan). The seat of the
regency is located at Depok Jaya. I have stayed in depok already 6 year and i love lived in Depok
And now, I want sharing 10 allures interisting of Depok City :
1. Education
In the city of Depok Already, there are
schools from elementry school to senior high school who are eligible to be used
for financial support from the government, especially public schools . But Still a bit of a public school in the city of
Depok and its location is also contained in a housing. So many students are
also entering private schools because the lack of public schools . Although the
college is good enough as there are University of Indonesia and University
Gunadarma as well . University of Indonesia is the best in Indonesia. The teaching was good enough to teach student in Depok.
2. The layout area in Depok
Did you know Depok ? Depok border between Jakarta and Bogor and called in the Greater Jakarta area it means Jakarta , Bogor , Depok , Tangerang , Bekasi . Jabodetabek is the area that most people live and as the central government especially Jakarta. In Depok also a river that connects from Bogor to Jakarta . The name of the river called the river Ciliwung. Ciliwung river are also long and large river . There are a lot of garage usually.
3. Culinary
When you visit Depok, you can find a lot of snack,cafe and restaurant especially in Margonda Raya Depok or Kelapa dua street. We can find along the way an awful lot that we can meet to eat . In Margonda Raya street, we can found mie ayam berkat, sop durian, ice pocong, zoe cafe, mang kabayan restaurant, delysh coffe shop, warung pasta and many more . And than, you also can find something to eat in Foodcourt mall area in Depok. So dont afraid if you want to stay in Depok and need something to eat because you can easily got food .
4. Mall and Market.
In Depok have some mall. That is Depok town square, Margo City mall, D'mall, Itc mall, Plaza Depok which is always people to shopping, culinary tour, or spend time with family and friends. Everyday mall in Depok is always crowded . And than, Depok also have tradistional market that is Cisalak markets, Pal markets, Depen market and many more. The markets to sell and buy something like vegetable, fruit even clothes can also purchase. Depok also have mini market like Indomaret or Alfamart in road side.

Police in the city of Depok is good to refuse bribes and very discipline about regulations such as raids on the street or environment of depok. They are keep,protect and care in Depok. Also root out criminal in Depok with maximum service.

services in Depok is quite good because it was the availability of hospitals
supporting health care for people who can not afford . And services and
pharmaceuticals are also quite good.

gold . Additionally because of the vast area that is free and accessible to the
public , so this is often a family vacation destination or just a spot to rest
